The nomad 09 ultravoilet-series kevlar returns with more sopishication,the same indestructible core chassis as the carbon series kiteboards but with kevlar laminates and the snowboard hardcore graphic plates,finished in a stunning graphic with carbon highlights.The ultraviolet kevlar is designed with the freestyler in mind,the flex curve is slightly tweeked to deliever electric pop.Fantastic early planning from a lightweight pvc laminated setup,the ability for snappy turns in the waves makes this board interesting for the intermediate rider.As with all nomad kiteboards all development work is hacked through 3D programs,shaping uses a semi CNC process and is finished by hand.Quality and craftsmanship are typical of nomads hand build techniques,each board goes through a finishing process taking an hour to inspect and polish every detail of the product.
Concave shape at 6 mm in the center section leveling out to flat sections along the rail guarantees the boards upwind abilities and is always the first planing.
The board can be made in sizes from 128 to 137 in cm increments,boards normally from 128 to 133 are 39,5 cm wide and boards from 134 to 137 are 40 cm wide.As always clients can quite easily order kiteboards to special widths with up to 41 cm wide possible,nomad suggests for girls or lightweight riders to take a cm less on the width of the board.
The complete package comes with B3 20 mm plaque pads and soft adjustable footstraps with nomad embroided logo.A complete set of G10 fins at 5cm and an alloy foam handle to finish the set.For 20 euros extra nomad ABS plaque pads with 20 mm memory foam can be fitted,(highly recomended).
